5 TOP TIPS FOR FILMING YOURSELF

Many charities and non-profit organisations are embarking on video projects that require remote recording. So to help you improve the quality of your footage, I have pulled together 5 top tips for filming yourself.

If you follow these guidelines, the quality of your own videos will be greatly improved helping you engage and inspire your audience.

What’s covered in the pdf;

Audio, lighting, the camera, framing & composing a shot including;

  • ORIENTATION
  • CAMERA ANGLES
  • THE RULE OF THRIDS
  • PIECES TO CAMERA (PTC’s)
  • INTERVIEW STYLE

Example footage

Included are some real life examples of how I use these theories in my own work. I have even labelled each shot and overlaid the Rule of Thirds grid to help illustrate how the compositions and framing look in practice.

Sign up to my quarterly newsletter for helpful insights/advice and receive my 5 top tips for filming yourself.
